I want to give you a warm welcome to Kind Connections and share a little about me.

As a developmental behavioral consultant, I have been trained in both developmental therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. My passion for connecting these two therapies is ultimately what inspired Kind Connections.

As a therapist working primarily with developmentally delayed children, this connection seemed obvious to me, it’s necessary, it’s undeniable. What I found though was a huge divide between the two fields and I could not help but begin to day dream about the day when these two therapies would finally connect; it’s inevitable, it’s destined to happen, and I am determined to be apart of that connection.

While combining these two forms of therapies I am able to support the growth and development of children with developmental delays, behavioral concerns, and social-emotional needs. Not only am I able to help the child, I am able to help families connect with their children, understand them, and learn how to best support their child’s development, needs, and behavioral concerns. Lastly, I utilize this connection to support and mentor providers to expand their knowledge beyond what was taught in their classrooms, so they too can make better connections and have more impactful, meaningful sessions with their clients.

My connection building doesn’t stop in my professional career. I continue to connect with those in my personal life by being their personal chef, crafty bartender, and jokester. Hosting people, filling their stomachs, and making them laugh is my happy place. There is truly nothing I love better than creating shared joy and building authentic, genuine connections that last a lifetime.
